The COVID-19 pandemic brought forth a different type of side effect for the junior talent of Wall Street; the opportunity to interview freely and explore external opportunities like never before.

For the first time essentially ever, the world of finance was working from home and the junior talent of Wall Street was not at a desk in a physical office at all hours of the day. This allowed analysts and associates in investment banking, those who are typically the most overworked, with specific demands for long hours of “face time”, to take multiple interviews a day without ever “stepping off the desk” or having to lie to their manager about a doctor’s appointment that suddenly sprung up.
