Ismail Daftani

Ismail is a Partner and CTO with Options Group in New York, where he focuses on creating strategic IT initiatives that align with Options Group’s 2025 and Beyond Digital Transformation and long-term technology goals. He works closely with leadership management, partners, the compliance team and vendor partners to deliver innovative programs and services that enhance user performance, research capabilities, and overall Options Group’s users’ and clients’ upward and onward global collaboration.

Ismail comes from a trading floor support background. He has insight into keeping up with industry best practices within technology trends and compliance.

Before Options Group, Ismail worked for Investec in their NYC office, supporting traders on multiple trading floors, being a part of the Y2K initiatives team, and supporting Investec clearinghouse personnel at NYSE.

Ismail holds a BS in Computer Science from New Jersey City University.

Away from the office, Ismail enjoys family time, loves nature and mountains and is always out to gain knowledge and help others build confidence and self-esteem in what they can do best.
